Keeping up with the Kardashians

The Kardashians are best known for their reality series, Keeping Up With the Kardashins, as well as many of their spin offs, such as Khole` and Lamar, Kourtney and Kim take New York, Kourtney and Khole` Take Miami and Kourtney and Kim take Miami. They are also known for their clothing stores, Dash, in Miami, New York, and California. They are busy girls with a lot going on.

Khloe` Kardashian-Odom recently took on a gig co hosting the TV Show, The 'X' Factor. However, recent news says that Khloe` will not be asked back to co host the show with Mario Lopez. The producers just didn't feel like she could handle live TV. So sorry, Khloe`! At least she got the experience that she wanted, and something to add to her resume`.

Kim Kardashian opened up to Ryan Seacrest in an interview about her pregnancy. She says that she is always in pain. Her pregnancy has been no walk in the park like she expected. She also opened up about how being on a reality show has changed how she shows her relationships the the public.

Kourtney Kardashian has been relatively out of the spotlight. She has been spotted out and about, and has done some interviews with her sisters. She also has been focusing on work and the Dash stores. She also has been devoting time to the Lord Disick and their children, Penelope, who will be 1 in June, and Mason, who is 3.

Their reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians  premieres on E! Sunday, June 2 at 9pm! I know that I will be tuning in to see how this all plays out. I love the Kardashians, and can't wait to see all the drama and family dysfunctionality. Season 8 looks to be a promising season! The Kardashians sure do know how to deliver.

Boston Strong

The Boston Red Sox made a heartfelt and touching tribute to all the victims and heroes involved in the Boston bombings. The game started off with a video of the aftermath of what happened after the bombings and in the city of Watertown. The law enforcement was then ushered out onto the field and honored for their good work, and then there was a moment of silence for the victims of the bombings. The announcer spoke very touching words and emphasized the unity in a time of crisis. The whole opening to the Red Sox game was an excellent tribute to the unfortunate events of this week. Everyone is encouraged to stay strong, Boston strong. The Red Sox ended up winning this game dedicated to the events of this week against the Kansas City Royals by one run. The final score was 3-4.

Friends Reunion!

I am so incredibly excited that NBC has signed on for another season of Friends!
Although the cast has been split up and involved in many other things for the past ten years, they all will be coming back for one final season.

Jennifer Aniston is engaged to Justin Therouxand has been in various movie roles since the series has wrapped like Wanderlust, where she met Theroux.

Courteney Cox Arquette has since split from her husband, David Arquette, and has her own series, "Cougar Town."

Lisa Kudrow had some scenes in Wanderlust and had a role in Hotel for Dogs. She has also been in commercials for Gameboy DS. She was also on an episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" where she discovered her paternal great grandmother was killed by Nazis.

Matt LeBlanc had his own spin off called" Joey," but that was not so successful. He now stars in his own show called "Episodes."

Matthew Perry has starred in The Ron Clark Story, based on a true story. He also wrote, co produced, and acted in a TV series that was short lived, "Mr. Sunshine." He has his own TV show, "Go On" that aired this year, and the season finale was on Tuesday.
David Schwimmer was the voice of Melman the giraffe in the Madagascar films. He was in other various movie roles and made his Broadway debut in 2006. He also made his directorial debut with Run Fatboy Run.
The reunion has been confirmed by NBC. There are no other confirmations made by any of the any actors at this point. Hopefully the whole cast will return, and the Friends reunion can take place! It's what Friends fanatics, like myself, have been waiting for! Here's to a ten year, long awaited,  Friends reunion!

Accidental Racist

Brad Paisley and LL Cool J wrote a song called Accidental Racist. This song has sparked major controversy. The lyrics try to tell a story of a white man who is trying to make things right and understand how to be a non white southern man. They touch on many different and sensitive topics. While the intentions of the song are good, it has created quite an uproar. The song came about because Brad Paisley had to explain himself wearing a Confederate flag on his t shirt to a black barista at Starbucks. But regardless of the criticism, Brad Paisley and LL Cool J stand by their decision to write the song.
This song has picked up quite a bit of attention. It has been talked about on various talk shows and, of course, SNL had to put their spin on the song in a spoof. In the Weekend Update with Seth Myers, Keenan Thompson played LL Cool J and Jason Sudeikis played Brad Paisley.

The Great Lilly Pulitzer

Lilly Pulitzer was found dead in her Palm Beach, Florida home today.

The great Lilly Pulitzer was best known for her bright and fun patterns on her clothing line. She got her start making shifts to cover up juice stains on her clothes that she got from her juice stand. Eventually, her colorful shifts starting selling more than the juice, and the clothing line was born. She started getting recognition when the First Lady, Jackie Kennedy wore one of her dresses in a magazine spread.

Her business quickly picked up. But in the mind '80's, she filed for bankruptcy. Ten years later, the business was picked back up and bought by Sugartown Worldwide Inc.

Now her clothing line is very successful and has expanded from just dresses for women into children's clothes, bathing suits, limited men's clothing, and many kinds of accessories. Her prints are so bold and colorful that they can almost be put on anything. There are bikes and cars that have the prints on them and even dog collars and cell phone cases.

Lilly Pulitzer was very inspiring, and will be missed by many. Her prints will still live on, and through them will continue to inspire others to follow their dreams as well.

April Fools?

On March 28 Scope released a new flavor of mouthwash, bacon. They have promoted it heavily on Twitter and on Facebook. Personally, I think it's gross. But there are many people out there who would buy such a product. The bacon craze has gone wild recently with everything being bacon flavored or bacon scented. There are even bacon band aids that smell and look like bacon. If it's a joke, it's a good one because it's just wild enough to be believable. Props to Scope for going all out and creating a successful joke! The ad that is circulating on social media makes me believe that it is a joke, but is it really? Take a look for yourself and make your own decision!
